In 2012 Romina created her blog with a childhood dream and vision to become a writer. Known as The Italianista, the blog became the launching pad for a successful writing career and without a background in journalism she followed the philosophy, “write what you know.”
While writing about her personal life experiences and lifelong travels to Italy, she was discovered by the editor of Montreal-based Panoram Italia Magazine and was subsequently mentored by editors from other publications. Thanks to these mentors and journalists who were able to identify a diamond in the rough, Romina is now a known and in-demand writer with her published articles ranging from personal interest stories and entertaining music artist bios to features raising awareness to critical social issues.
